“ I was at Kokomo’s when these people giving false ratings were there. Frankly, they were trying rip the place off. Several of the people ate much of their meals and then tried to send them back. And then one of their party was declined on his card. It was shocking to see grandma teaching her grandkids to rip off a food establishment: she didn’t give up for over 20 minutes of false claims....Pathetic! Kokomo’s is a great place with great food and atmosphere. And the loyal crowd here won’t stand for people trying to steal from the establishment. ”
“ This bar/restaurant felt like a blast from the past! The indoor bar makes you feel like you’re at a chill house party in your friends parents basement like in high school. The live music was GREAT! Perch sandwich and fries were good too. It was still too cold for the outdoor patio, but I’m sure that’s nice when the weather warms up. ”
“ Was in town for a softball tournament this past weekend and we stopped in on Friday for dinner. The food and service was great so we went each evening for food and drinks. The staff were very personable and accommodating. ”
“ The food was fantastic. We were HUNGRY after spending a day at Kalaharis. We wanted to support local food business and we're REALLY happy to discover Kokomos. My wife and kids are born on the island of Oahu and it felt aloha inside and out. Business was slower than usual so it was nice to have a quiet meal and chat with our waitress Kendra (who was FANTASTIC). Food made with love. Chef/s in the back know what they're doing. Definitely order a pizza and we highly recommend their garlic parm wings. My burger was seasoned well and juicy. Lettuce was crisp and cheese melted. No complaints. Support local business and give them a stop. Tomorrow (Monday) they have a 10oz prime rib special and I might have to check that out too ”
“ Missed a turn and sure glad we did, what a little gem this place is, food was excellent, service was amazing, will definitely get back here, I can imagine this place is packed in the summer, see you soon and thank you! ”
“ Local tavern that we were happy to choose. I had the prime rib, and it was juicy, tender, cooked just right, and they had real horseradish. Great price, too. My wife also enjoyed her fish. I've been going to Cedar Point for many years and wish I'd found it earlier. ”
“ This place felt as if you were visiting a family members house, like walking into grandpa’s basement to grab a quick meal. It was extremely cozy, the atmosphere was great, the lighting was soft, and the booths were very nice. They also have outdoor seating, which a live band was playing, love to see it. The food felt like a classic meal grandpa would whip up in the kitchen. Simple ingredients that get straight to the point. I ordered a walleye sandwich with a side of onion rings. The sandwich itself comes plain, and you ask to add your own toppings depending on your liking. The sandwich is a decent size, and you get a good amount of onion rings. It would be nice to have the fish seasoned more, I think it would enhance the sandwich. I was extremely happy with the price of the Diet Coke. 3 for one glass and you get one free refill, great deal I would say! The server was very friendly and attentive. She was managing the bar, and refilled our drinks at our table without us having to flag her down. Exactly the type of person you want to be serving you. The bathrooms could use some love. The stalls are shallow. You have just enough room to stand up and that’s about it. I’m an average size lady and I found the squeeze too close for comfort, almost claustrophobic inducing. If the stalls are given a bit more attention and more room, everything would have been perfect! Otherwise, highly recommend coming here. ”
“ Great home town establishment feel, everyone is so friendly and seems to know each other. Walleye bites are great! ”
